The Southwest Chapter of ASSP is pleased to share an outstanding no-cost training opportunity for safety professionals and compliance leaders! In partnership with Florida SouthWestern State College and HazMat Safety Consulting, the U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) is offering a fully funded, 100% online Hazmat Train-the-Trainer Program designed to equip you to develop and deliver compliant hazardous materials training within your organization.

Hazardous materials training is required for anyone who handles, prepares, or oversees the transportation of hazardous materials under DOT’s Hazardous Materials Regulations (49 CFR 172.700-704), including general awareness, function-specific, safety and security awareness training.
